?? Hutcheon and Pearce Griffith are seeking a Yard Person to keep the Service Workshop in top-notch shape! From keeping things clean and tidy to escorting new and used equipment, you'll play a key role in keeping the workshop running smoothly!

Position Overview

As the branch Yard Person, you will be responsible for the tidiness, cleanliness and hygiene of the Service Workshop and yard, machines and vehicles along with movement of stock around the branch as required by workshop management.

??Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Informs management of potential problems or areas that need repair in the workplace.
  • Ensure workshop and yard is clean and tidy
  • Assist in Workshop as required
  • Town deliveries as required
  • Movement of stock and goods around the Branch as required.
  • Detailing new and used equipment
  • Escorting of new and used equipment as required

The Ideal Candidate should have:

  • An ability to work within timeframes and to meet deadlines
  • An ability to work as a team
  • Attention to detail
  • The drive for continuous improvement
  • Can follow safe work procedures and operations
  • A driver’s license (Essential)

Desirable Qualities:

  • Forklift License (Desirable)
  • Yard Person experience (Desirable)
